大地の色合わせ
草木染めの糸を用い、編み込みによって色の重なりをつくるシリーズ。模様は Kaffe Fassett の Family Album を参考にしながら、色合わせと編みの中で独自に展開した。
プルオーバーは草木染めウール、ベストは手紡ぎウールの草木染め、子供用作品は草木染めシルクウールを用いている。
This series explores the harmony of earth colors through stranded knitting using naturally dyed yarns. Inspired by Kaffe Fassett’s Family Album, each work developed through an individual approach to color, pattern, and material.
The pullover uses naturally dyed wool, the vest hand-spun naturally dyed wool, and the children’s piece naturally dyed silk wool.
Multi-color × Beaver
1999年の個展に向けて制作したシリーズ。
20代の頃から惹かれていた野呂英作の糸に、十津川へ移住後、新宮の糸店で再び出会い制作を始める。
マルチカラーの糸とビーバーを組み合わせ、色と素材の重なりから生まれる表情を探った。
Created for a solo exhibition in 1999, this series combines Noro’s multi-colored yarns with beaver.
Having admired these yarns since my twenties, I returned to them after moving to Totsukawa. Through
color and texture, the works explore the possibilities created by the encounter of different materials.
Water Lily Yarn Series
手染め・手紡ぎの糸作家による「睡蓮シリーズ」の糸を用いた棒針の作品。
ビーバー素材を組み合わせ、ウール・シルク・ファーが自然に融合することで、糸の持つ色や質感を引き出しているシリーズ。
This series of hand-knitted works uses yarns from the Water Lily Series, created by a fiber artist specializing in hand-dyed and hand-spun yarns.
Combined with beaver yarn, the materials allow wool, silk, and fur to merge naturally, bringing out subtle variations of color and texture.
同じ糸作家との制作から生まれたジャケット作品。
太さのある手紡ぎウールとビーバー素材を曲線的に重ね、色と質感の流れを表現した、よりアート性を意識した作品。
Created through collaboration with the same fiber artist, this jacket uses substantial hand-spun wool rather than the finer yarn of the Water Lily Series.
Parallel flowing lines of wool and beaver create a more sculptural and artistic form.
Antique Lace
ヨーロッパのアンティークレースをもとに、編み図を参考に制作したカラー作品。
本来のレース糸ではなく、タッサシルクと細いピンクのシルクを用いて編むことで、素材の持つ光沢や柔らかさを生かし、新たな表情へと展開した。
A collar piece created from a European antique lace pattern.
Instead of traditional cotton lace thread, tussah silk and fine pink silk were used to reinterpret the work, bringing softness, subtle color, and a different expression to the original form.
Leather Knit
シープスキンを自ら鋏で細く切り、棒針で模様編みしたレザーニットシリーズ。
プルオーバーと袖なしトップスとして制作し、東京・青山のサロンで発表・販売した。
革の質感と編み目が重なり合うことで模様を生み出している。カーキの作品にはラメを加え、素材の表情を広げた。
A leather knit series created by hand-cutting sheepskin into fine strips and knitting patterned textures by hand.
Made as a pullover and a sleeveless top, these works were presented and sold at a salon in Aoyama, Tokyo.
The interaction of leather and knitted structure creates natural patterns, while the khaki piece incorporates metallic threads to expand the expression of the material.
レザーのみで編んだハット作品。棒針と鉤針を組み合わせ、現在もベレーやキャップへ展開している。
A hat created entirely from leather using a combination of knitting needles and crochet techniques.
This exploration continues today through wearable forms such as berets and caps.
